Review: Maybelline's Mascaras

Okay so when all these volum' express mascaras started to show up I did not hesitate to get one! If I well remember it was the Mega Plush one, I instantly fell in love with it! It makes your lashes look so great after a couple layers, so since I was really satisfied with this product i decided to try out the other ones, so I bought the Colossal, the Rocket and the Falsies, I love them all! They all have their very unique quality that makes your eyelashes pop up and look great! So of course when the Lash Sensational launched I had to go get it! And I do not regret any of these purchases.

As a whole these mascaras are the bomb! I've tried a few others but these ones seriously make your eyes look amazing and also almost all of them (rocket, mega plush and sensational) are water proof! Now I'm gonna go into detail into each of them!

The Mega Plush.
This was my very first Maybelline mascara, and I couldn't be any happier about it! It is so nice and it gives a whole lot of volume to your eyelashes. The little brush that comes with it is really messy and kinda big so I wouldn't recommend using it on your bottom lashes. The brush is also super flexible so it is easy to handle and it puts on the makeup so easily. So if your looking for big full looking lashes this is the volum' express mascara for you! Super recommendation!

Stars for this mascara:

The Colossal.
So this is a good old mascara, the brush is just straight and a little bit messy. The formula on this is so amazing! It doesn't get clumpy at all and it gives a lot of volume, this one isn't waterproof but still is awesome. It makes your eyelashes look super long and thin. The are so many variations of this mascara, and I can surely say all of them work fine, but I particularly love this one so much, it does wonders on my lashes, so I hope it does in yours too!

Stars for this mascara:

The Rocket.

Okay so this is one of my favorites, I love this one because the brush is really small so it does wonders to my bottom lashes! It also works very well with false lashes because the brush is straight so it is great for blending in your natural lashes with the false ones. Also, this is a waterproof one, and I can say, it really is! It could be raining or I could be in a swimming pool and it doesn't wear off! It's amazing. So if your looking for long, waterproof lashes, this is the one!

Stars for this mascara:

The Falsies.

This has been my favourite mascara for so long. It makes your eyelashes look great! It really makes honour to its name. It makes them look really full and long. The brush is curved, which is great at giving your lashes that falsie volume look, and it is flexible as well! There are also a few versions of this one, but this has been my fave so far! I wear it almost every time I go out and it looks super amazing.

Stars for this mascara:

Lash Sensational.
This last mascara is my most recent purchase, so I haven't used it long enough now, but from what I have I can completely say I love it! The best part about this product is that one part of the brush has long curved bristles to make your lashes look super curved and long, and on the other side has really small bristles so I guess those are for your bottom lashes! This mascara is really nice and the formula is really wet. Super super recommend this!

April 2015 FAVORITES

So I've tried a lot of new products this month and it was really hard to pick! But I could, and I'm gonna show you my favourite makeup products lately

In no particular order:

- Mary Kay translucent powder.
So I just posted a review on this product actually, and I can surely say, it is amazing! It sets the makeup so well and takes away all the shine! If you're looking to have a matte finish on your face, this is the perfect powder for you!

- EOS lip balm.
So this product is really popular and I get why! It's super smooth and it smells delicious, it seriously makes your lips really nice and moisturised, highly recommend! They come in all sorts of colors and smells

- MAC pro longwear blush in "Stay Pretty".
I've been loving this blush since the moment I bought it! It is so pigmented and stays in a long period of time. The thing I most noticed about this product is that it is really really pigmented and so soft. Also the color is super pretty! A nice pink goes well with any skin tone!

- Maybelline Rocket mascara.
What I mainly love about this mascara is that it is waterproof! And it makes my lashes look soooooo big! It doesn't get clumpy or anything even tho is waterproof (which happens a lot among this kind of mascaras) and it is easy to take off as well. Highly recommend!

- E.l.f. essential flawless eyeshadow in "Beautiful Browns".
So this were basically my first drugstore mascaras and I still love them a lot! They go on so nicely and stay all day. These colors are neutral and nice so they go with everything. It also comes with a little mirror and a tiny two-sided applicator.

- Beauty Blender.
So, we've heard endless reviews and comments on this not so long ago launched beauty product, and I can sum myself up into the persons that love it! It gives your makeup a new finish and it is amazing, you just have to take care of it because it can easily fall apart if you don't! Clean it with the cleanser and it should be fine.

- City Color bold brow powder.
This was my very first brow makeup, so I can't really compare it to others, but I do love it! It stays on all day long and the color is really nice.

-E.l.f. liquid eyeliner in black.
I as well posted a recent review on this and I totally love it! Easy to apply and stays on all day long.

- Maybelline dream bouncy blush in Peach Satin.
This is my second dream bouncy blush and I love them so much! They're extremely pigmented and super creamy, the colors are so nice and long lasting.

- Adara white eyeshadow.
So this is a single eyeshadow and I love it! I always say white eyeshadow is a must have, a makeup essential, it gives glow and shine to the eye, and also works as a highlighter. So buy one if you don't! I love this one cause it stays on and is super nice pigmented.

Keep in track for more! On next.. MAY FAVORITES!

Review: Elf's liquid eyeliner

So this was basically my first liquid eyeliner ever, so I learned with it. I'm still not that good at liquid eyeliner and it can get messy pretty fast, so if you're considering on getting one just beware it'll take practice and patience.

What I like about this one is the little brush it has, it is really easy to handle and it's really fine. I tried another eyeliner from another brand and it was a sponge kind of brush and I honestly didn't like it at all. So I highly recommend this product! Try it out, it's only $1-$3 (can't remember the price) it's worth it!

The only but I see in this one is the eyeliner is really shinny, and if you don't like your eyeline to look shinny, my advice is just press a bit of matte black eye shadow on top and it'll take away the shine and make it longer lasting!

Review: Mary Kay's translucent powder

Okay so I got this a long time ago, and I can say, it is amazing! It sets the makeup so well! And it makes your skin matte so there's no shine left from oily skins! I would seriously recommend it, I've been loving it and it works wonders for me. So you should definitely try it! Look for a Mary Kay beauty consultant near you and start ordering!

You could totally use this with a big fluffy powder brush or a smaller one, it doesn't matter, just get it all over your face once your makeup is done.
